Carousel splits and the swipe seam
The Social mode on the front page cuts a carousel: two to twenty slides at 1:1, 4:5 or 3:4, framed from one wide picture, numbered in the order they are added. What follows is how to plan the strip so the seams work. A carousel seam is both a cut and a transition, and the composition should reward a swipe without slicing critical text or a face unpredictably.
01
Lay out the full strip at the exact combined pixel width, then place guides at each panel boundary. Designing slides separately makes continuous lines hard to align.
02
Keep essential copy inside each panel's safe area. Interfaces crop thumbnails and overlay controls differently from the full-screen carousel view.
03
Let backgrounds and broad shapes cross a seam, but move eyes, small type and narrow product edges away from it. Those features expose even a one-pixel mismatch.
04
Export every panel with identical height, format and colour treatment. A platform may rescale one inconsistent slide and break the continuous swipe illusion.
